COVID-19 settings in villages
At any time, we ask that you do not visit any Summerset village if you feel unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms.
Visiting the Care Centre
We welcome all visitors (vaccinated and unvaccinated — including children of all ages) into our care centres
Care centre visitors are no longer routinely required to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) prior to the visit
At any time, we ask that you do not visit a Summerset care centre if you feel unwell with any cold or flu-like symptoms (village residents included)
If you have tested positive for Covid-19, please do not visit the Care Centre for ten days.
Visitors to our care centres are still required to sign in using the iPad at reception or Sine app, and answer the health screening questions
If someone in your household has tested positive for Covid-19, please don’t visit during the recommended five-day testing period
While they are no longer mandatory, we do recommend that medical masks continue to be worn while inside the facility, for the safety of others’ loved ones and your own
Please note: The above outlined care centre visiting processes may change at a village if they are experiencing an outbreak of any infectious illness including Covid-19. Any closures or additional precautions will be communicated at village level
You can find more information on Covid-19 and current government recommendations on the Ministry of Health’s website.
