New Zealand Aged Care Association

New Zealand Aged Care Association (NZACA), is a not-for-profit, national membership organisation which represents all parts of the aged care residential sector. Its members provide long and short term residential services to the over 65 cohort. NZACA was formed following the merger of HealthCare Providers NZ (HCPNZ) and the Association of Residential Care Homes (ARCH) in 2009. The merger of these two associations unites the sector as one strong voice representing aged residential care facilities in all associated groups, forums and political arenas.

TradeMe is the largest Internet-auction website operating in New Zealand as of 2009 (in terms of membership, number of auctions and traffic). New Zealand entrepreneur Sam Morgan founded the site in 1999, and after some years of overall dramatic growth sold it to Fairfax in 2006.
