Ensuring that you have the right care at the right place at the right time is central to Summerset's integrated retirement village and age care options.

At Summerset you have access to rest home level care, hospital care, respite care, and day care options. Every Summerset rest home and hospital employs Registered Nurses, and there are experienced caregivers on hand at all times. Medical practitioners, and podiatrists, and hairdressers visit the village on a regular basis.

Every care resident will have a personalised care plan developed by the Nurse Manager in conjunction with a doctor. This may be your own GP, if you wish, or our contracted medical practitioner.

Rest Home
Rest home level care in a Summerset Village, offers residents the very best in clinical care, while receiving the benefits of living in our warm and welcoming community. All our residents have private rooms, with modern decor, where you can be surrounded by your own possessions. The rooms are spacious and overlook beautiful landscaped gardens and internal courtyards. We offer the choice of ensuites, along with television and telephone services to meet your needs. At Summerset we employ dedicated therapies staff whose role is to provide daily activities and entertainment for rest home residents, be that on a group or individual basis. You can be sure there is always something going on and our residents maintain active lifestyles and enjoy the companionship of others.

Hospital
When higher levels of support are needed our Hospital level care provides the benefits of 24 hour nursing care and supported living in a warm and welcoming environment. The rooms are warm, spacious, with ensuites available. We also have television and telephone choices services to meet your needs. At Summerset we employ dedicated therapies staff whose role is to provide daily activities and entertainment for rest home residents be that on a group or individual basis. You can be sure there is always something going on and our residents maintain active lifestyles and enjoy the companionship of others.

Respite Care / Short Term Care
Summerset welcomes residents who require short term care. We call this respite care where you can stay with us for anything from one day to one month. Perhaps your family or carer is planning a trip away and you require professional care in their absence. Maybe you are planning surgery and require short term post-operative care to support your recovery? Subsidies are often available. Contact our village manager with any query.

Day Care Programme

At Summerset we also offer a quality Day Care programme for those who might just need assistance during the day. By simply booking in you can enjoy the warm supportive environment and companionship of other residents at minimal costs. Subsidies may also be available.
